Year 2 - Skills Escalator Day

Year 2 learning workplace skills

Oceania Class visited the Skills Escalator Day on Friday 6th June, where local businesses talked to the children about the skills they needed in the workplace.  The children learnt how to be safe with electricity with National Power, how science is used by Suffolk Police, how the History of Sudbury is preserved and celebrated by Suffolk County Council and about all the different jobs and processes that go into creating and selling a box of Jaffa Cakes!

We also had lots of fun trying on uniforms!
